About us

A long history and
deep expertise

For over 55 years, Hi-Quality Group has provided tailored and innovative waste management solutions for governments, councils, major contractors, and local businesses, partnering on some of Australia’s biggest projects.

We were established in 1964 as a single quarry and transport operator.

Since then, our growth to become a multi-disciplinary contractor has been underpinned by a long-term vision for the sector, a deep understanding of what our customers and the broader industry needs, and the determination to rise to complex challenges.

We develop customised solutions for the unique needs of our customers.

Our strategically located assets in  Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria leverage existing and emerging services and technologies, and our local teams provide the flexibility and agility to design tailored solutions for customers’ unique needs.

Our continued success is driven by a team of specialists

We draw on the breadth of expertise across our 250+ workforce encompassing environmental scientists, engineers, technical experts, and business leaders to always build on what we did yesterday.

Innovating to address
sector-wide challenges

Diverting waste & recovering

precious resources has never been more important.

As communities grow, more resources are being consumed and more waste is being produced. At the same time, the urgency to reduce environmental impacts by diverting waste from landfill and recovering precious resources wherever possible has never been more important.

The way we manage waste is moving away from a linear economy towards a circular system that preserves our resources, better protects our environment, and ensures we capture the enormous economic opportunity that a more sustainable system represents.

As Australia embarks on this transition, Hi-Quality will play our part in supporting governments, businesses, and councils by advancing our recovery technologies, exploring how we can bring new processes to convert waste materials into energy and sustainable fuels, while continuing to develop new ways to treat complex chemicals and return them to usable products.

As we undertake this journey, our social licence to operate is just as important to us as the services we provide. Our team works to ensure we leave a positive legacy for the land we operate on, and for the communities around us.
