Preserving our precious resources

Helping Australia meet its targets

Recycle or reuse 80% of waste by 2030

Australia’s target to recycle or reuse 80% of its waste by 2030 will require the country to increase its rate of resource recovery significantly. Currently, the construction and demolition sector produces the second largest amount of waste by industry.

With the right technology, almost all types of C&D waste – including concrete, bricks, asphalt, metals, soils, timber, and rocks – can be recovered and turned into high-value materials.

Our specialist facilities in New South Wales and Victoria – including our dedicated resource recovery subsidiary Brandown – feature leading technologies that screen, sort, and separate quality materials from waste before returning the material into leading construction and landscaping products for safe use.
